Amit is passionate about solving problems, whether they are small, engaging puzzles or large-scale engineering challenges that shape the computing industry. Over the past 12 years, he has worked across a diverse range of technical domains, including high-performance scalable systems, machine learning, data mining, advertising technologies, and data analytics. Throughout his career, he has focused on building innovative solutions that combine strong engineering principles with practical business impact. Beyond his professional roles, one of Amit's most rewarding accomplishments has been co-authoring the book Algorithms for Interviews. Together with his PhD advisor, Adnan, he spent more than a decade collecting and refining interesting algorithmic and problem-solving challenges, many of which became part of the book. He takes great pride in knowing that thousands of engineers have used it to strengthen their algorithmic thinking, improve their problem-solving skills, and advance their careers.
